Hello! I thought I'd break up all the wedding fair related posts by showing you a bespoke design I worked on recently.
Back in January, Susan got in touch to ask me if I could design some Christening invitations for her son, Rowan (and of course I said yes). She had a lovely idea involving the church where the christening was taking place. She told me it belongs to the family of Rowan's Godmother, Emma, and that her Mother is buried on the site, right in front of the church. Susan asked for a custom illustration to be used on the front of the invitations, and for some larger prints to be made, one of which was to be a gift to Emma as a Thank You for being Godmother. Isn't that a sweet idea?
The illustration of the venue made a lovely invitation design, with an addition of just a small, simple banner with Rowan's full name. On the reverse, Susan requested a deep navy to match the cake she had ordered, so I kept the rest simple and white to show that off nicely.
This project was lovely to work on, made even more special by the sweet sentiment behind it.
