Our First Anniversary
Last month marked our first year of being Mr & Mrs Webb. The year has completely flown by and it honestly feels like just a few weeks ago that we said “I do” and celebrated our best day ever. Since that day, we’ve bought a house, spent the first 8 months of our marriage living with Mum & Dad whilst we renovated that house, moved in to that house, and are still renovating it now (and probably will be in to next year!) It wasn’t quite what we planned but we’re so excited to have a finished home to call our own once its all done! We’ve been so busy with all the renovations, we haven’t had the chance to take any holidays or trips this year (apart from our anniversary trip to the Cotswolds which I shared last week), but we have lots of things planned for the next 2 years to make up for it, and it will be completely worth it to have this lovely home to come back to.
As well as our little trip to the Cotswolds, we celebrated our first anniversary with a trip back to our wedding venue, Kent Life Farm. We met our lovely friends Catherine & Andy of White Stag Weddings there and spent 2 hours cuddling and laughing together while they took our photos. We got the photos back last week and of course we are completely in love with them. Its taken me a while to pick out some favourites to share, but here goes:
It was so fun to revisit our venue and reminisce about our day as walked around the various locations, and we got to see a bit more of the venue than we did on the day itself (including saying hello to some of the animals on the farm) Its so special to have these photos to look back on, we’ve now had them taken three years in a row (for our engagement, wedding and anniversary) and we hope to make it a regular yearly thing.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll probably never stop saying it, but Catherine & Andy are truly lovely people, and incredibly talented photographers. We’re so glad we found them to capture our wedding and so happy to now get to call them our friends. If you’re looking for photographers, we cannot recommend them enough so please go and say hi!
