Ivory Bell Floral - Logo & Branding
Hello! Today I am so excited to reveal the new branding for Ivory Bell Floral.
Revyn was fantastic to work with and I had so much fun creating her new logo & branding for her. Read on for more about the design process.
Ivory Bell is a Floral design company run by the lovely Revyn. After discovering a love for floral design and interning with florists in her area, Revyn started her business aged just 15 while she was still in High school! She's just purchased her own studio (which you can see updates on over on her Instagram account @ivorybellfloral) in the aim to further establish her business before she graduates university in net year, and I just know she's going to be so successful!
We started the design process with a Brand Discovery questionnaire, where Revyn told me all about her business, what she liked and din't like about her current branding, and everything she wanted her brand to be. Teal was a must, along with yellows and greens, and Revyn wanted her clients to associate her brand with being "creative, dreamy and uplifting". Based on her answers to the questionnaire, I put together this bright & sunny mood board:
The mood board was a hit right away and I got to work on some sketches for logo concepts. Flowers are at the heart of Ivory Bell, so of course a floral or botanical element was essential to the primary logo. Revyn picked her favourite 3 sketches and I took them in to Adobe Illustrator and developed them in to fully formed concepts:
It was a close call between the first and third concept, but in the end we settled on the first one. Next step was adding colour and creating the secondary logo, submark and graphics to match.
The secondary logo is a stripped back version of the primary logo, designed to fit in to limited horizontal spaces such as letter-heads, social media headers and e-mail signatures, while the submark fits in to a neat little circle, designed for social media profile pictures and stickers.
The final step of the process was to create Revyn's business card & social media designs, and update her website with the new logos, colours and fonts. You can see the full effect of the new branding live on the website at www.ivorybellfloral.com
I absolutely love how this project turned out! Florals are a firm favourite of mine so I loved every aspect of this design, and that cheerful teal & yellow colour palette just shouts fun & summer to me!
Finally, a few lovely words from Revyn herself:
"Emma was an absolute blast to work with! She used my previous work to design a new logo that perfectly described my style! Throughout the design process, she continually kept me up to date with each step and I absolutely love the way each piece turned out!"
Thanks so much for trusting me to create your new branding, Revyn! Wishing you all the luck in the future of your wonderful business.
