WEBB WEDDING I
Last week, we received our wedding photos back from Catherine & Andy of White Stag Weddings, and we could not be happier! They're genuinely lovely people to be around and they were a huge help to us both on the day. And of course, they're both incredibly talented and the images are stunning. Catherine & Andy have captured everything we asked for brilliantly, the images are exactly what we had hoped for and we are so thrilled we found them.
We'd planned all along to enjoy going through our images together with a bottle of bubbly, and last Friday evening we did exactly that. Since then we've looked through them countless times, and I still can't stop going through them. Trying to narrow it down to just a few to share here has been near impossible! So I'm going to split this in to a few section across different blog posts, so I don't share hundreds all at once! First up is the Morning Prep...
Catherine arrived mid morning to photograph me, Mum, Dad & my lovely bridesmaids (and Beabea of course!) just as we were about to start opening gifts. Jamie bought me the 'Best Friends' Pandora charm and made me a photo album of our time together from day one, with a countdown of the numbers of days until the wedding.
Once all the presents were opened we had the finishing touches done to our hair and make-up (make-up by Helen Lee) and got in to our dresses. We had a bit of trouble fastening the buttons on my dress but Catherine stepped in and got it all sorted for me!
Mum and Catherine were the only ones that had seen my dress so Dad & the girls all waited downstairs while I got ready and I had great fun revealing it to them when I came down the stairs! Dad stayed in the kitchen with his eyes closed while I revealed it to the girls, then they led him in the room and told him to open his eyes. All of their reactions were so lovely and its one of my favourite moments from the day.
Once we were all ready we had a little time before the cars arrived so all went out in to the garden for some portraits. Lisa from Heather & Wood created our gorgeous bouquets and a sweet little basket of petals for Amara, our Flower Girl. Fran & Natalia's bridesmaid dresses were from Debenhams, and my gown was by Essence of Australia and purchased at the lovely Isabella Grace Bridal Boutique. Mum's beautiful dress was custom made by Stitched on the Hill. I just love how well everything matches and how well it all came together!
Just before we left to get in the cars, Natalia had one last surprise for me. During the morning she'd been taking polaroid pictures of us all getting ready, and she'd put them in to a beautiful album with letters from Jamie, Mum, Dad and both her & Fran. I read through it in the car on the way to the venue and had to try not to cry too much so I didn't ruin my makeup!
Meanwhile, Andy was with Jamie, his Dad and Groomsmen over at the hotel opposite the venue. I've loved seeing this images and seeing a part of his morning. There's so much laughter and fun in all of these images! I especially love the look on Jamie's face when he's opening his presents from me. I designed a set of posters for his favourite films & TV shows, and bought him the record of the song I was going to be walking in to. The boys' suits are all from Moss, and Jamie's shoes are from Next.
Sorry for the incredibly long post here! There's just so many lovely images to choose from!
Next week I'll share a few (OK, a lot) from the ceremony at Kent Life.
Huge thanks again to Catherine & Andy at White Stag Weddings for all of these stunning images!
